Happy Friday my Lovelies!
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I did a lot of relaxing and some cooking, but mostly relaxing 🙂
In honor of the day where most families finally use that formal dining room that never gets used throughout the year, I would like to share a few of my favorite dining rooms that I have completed over the years
This has to be at the top of the list of my favorite dining rooms. Not only is it one where I got to work with antiques and mixing them with newer pieces, it also won me an ASID award. I just love the rich colors we chose for this room. Cozy and dramatic
This dining room was done for one of my most favorite clients to work with. I ended up doing several projects in their home, but this dining room was one of the first. It is a very small space, but it had to pack a punch for this large family. We managed to squeeze storage for prayer books out of this small space
This was a very recent project that I completed. My clients were looking forward to having the room completed before Thanksgiving. We did, with days to spare
This dining room is so exciting to me with these luscious silk draperies. My client loves the traditional look and I was happy to oblige.
I love the comfy cozy feel of the Victorian cottage dining room. I did this room in a non-conventional way with my choice of seating. It is a great place for an intimate dinner
This dining area is actually outside on the patio, but it is the main dining area for this tiny apartment I recently completed. I think it is wonderful dining al fresco everyday
This dining room was done for a young family who just relocated here from Canada. This was the first home where they really got to plant some roots. I was thrilled to help them use some of the pieces that were special to them
This dining room is technically a living and dining combo, but it definitely serve its purpose for this home
The rich sisal metallic wallpaper in this dining room is definitely the showpiece. My client was a bit hesitant when I first presented this wallpaper, but it is now one of her favorite things about this whole project
This dining room is actually a breakfast room, but I just love the contrast between the way it is now and where it started – beige and more beige. My clients get a lot of use out of this space, and who can blame them
So there you have it – 10 of my favorite dining room projects that I have completed.
