Happy New Year!
It is already day number two of 2019 and I am finally back in the studio ready to take the new year by the horns. I have a lot scribbled down on paper as goals for this year, but for me, I love to take a look back around this time every year to see just we have accomplished, and what we could have done better.
There were so great highs for sure in 2018, but some great losses as well. But the beauty about life is that we still get to express gratitude for God's goodness in the good times, and the lessons He is trying to teach us in the not so good times.
I lost my dear friend and mentee, Nichole Gabriel this year. That was not only a shock to me, but filled me with extreme sadness, and even caused me to re-evaluate my life and my goals. Nichole taught me so much during the short time we became close, but I also learned so much after her passing.
Here are just a few of the highlights of 2018
January
In January, I attended my very first Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Orlando. I discovered so many top trends in kitchen and bath design. One vignette (not the one shown), inspired my own kitchen remodel. Check out my roundup HERE
