Although I am away at High Point Market in North Carolina for the Fall furniture market, I am still trying to get as much done with the laundry room as possible.
This week's post will be short and sweet as I am away from the office.
I can tell you that this will be me after the luxe laundry room is revealed in a couple of weeks. Some good rest and relaxation will be had by yours truly....not in the laundry room of course. Haha. That is still where chores happen, even if t will be gorgeous
Check in on week 1, week 2 and week 3 to see the progress of the laundry room makeover for the One Room Challenge (ORC). You can learn about the ORC and its creator Linda Weinstein through this link. And there you can meet the amazing sponsors for this season, as well as the featured 20 designers, of which I was chosen as one
I will be working with The Tile Shop, Milton and King, LeGrand adorne, Emtek, Behr Paint and Hudson Valley for my space. They been so generous and am excited to showcase their amazing products in my laundry room
Be sure to follow the progress of the other 19 designers as well , plus the guest participants who join in for the fun

So what have I accomplished this week?
Since I am away, it was hard to schedule any of my trades people, but we did manage to get the cabinetry completed.
We were a bit short on the caning but ordered one more roll on a rush and it came just in time.
We made some changes to the cabinetry plan to keep things simple as time is against us at this point. The dog bed was deleted and so were the clothing hampers
The painter was also in this week and got most of the prep work done and ready for paint
We also had the countertop measured for the marble countertop
The electrician was also back out to move the sconce and the ceiling fixture boxes
The rest of this week will be hustle hustle in preparation for the wallpaper installer on Monday. Wish me some serious luck
Here is a reminder of where we started
Come back next week to see the progress. I can't wait for this to be over and photographed soon
